No discussion of the State Of The Union would be complete without talking about Marco “Big Gulp” Rubio’s water break.  As he was giving the GOP response Senator Rubio noticed that his mouth was getting dry.  After a few minutes of trying to lick his lips and wipe his mouth he gave in and went for the bottle of water.

The act of needing to pause for a drink is understandable.  What made it an awkward event was that he leaned far down to grab the water while at the same time trying not to break eye contact with the camera.
